The short version. We collect your email address so we can tell you when our books are free or on sale. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone. You can leave at any time with one click, and we delete you when you do.

Who we are

Wittle House LLC publishes children's books. This page explains what we do with the information you give us at wittlehouse.com. If you have a question about any of it, email us at contact@wittlehouse.com.

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, your address, your payment details, or anything about your children. We have no use for any of it.

What we do with it

We use your email address to send you free book day announcements, sale and countdown deal notices, new release news, and occasional free downloads. That's the whole list. We don't send anything else, and we don't send on behalf of other companies.

Who else can see it

Your address is stored with Kit, the email platform that delivers our messages, and this site is served by Netlify. Both are service providers acting on our behalf, and both are bound by their own privacy terms. Nobody else receives your information. We don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers, and there's no scenario in which we would.

Leaving the list

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're out, immediately, no questions and no retention email. You can also reply to any message and ask us to remove you, or write to contact@wittlehouse.com.

Seeing or deleting your data

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. Email contact@wittlehouse.com and we'll handle it. Because the only thing we hold is an email address and its engagement history, this is usually a very short conversation.

Children

Our books are for children. This website isn't. The signup form is intended for parents, grandparents, teachers and other adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove the address.

Cookies

This page doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Our email platform may set a cookie when you submit the signup form, purely so the form knows you've already subscribed.

Changes to this page

If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll say so in an email rather than quietly editing the page.
